Mr President
SOLD

His training consists of;

Gymkhana days to break the racing feeling he had and by the 2nd one he had turned into a hack! winning hacks here and usually the lady rider as he has a rocking horse movement to die for.

Dressage and jumping schools to assist in group training and different locations ect.

He has been let be a horse on long trail rides in groups and alone, jumping freely natural logs over 1m without a flinch, he is worked in both arenas and 10 acre flats and let gallop on the odd occasion which he enjoyed.

He has been educated to this point with soft aids and suggestions only, he has been shown the lead than he fluently follows the lead effortlessly and without anxiety, first ride he was forward from behind active without resistance, a dream from the track to say the least.

His first show was Singleton Show (terrible conditions, dust storm week)where he as pictured won champion hack, he did not look at a ride, a flag, a camel, a noise, I was very proud it was as though he had been 1000 times, work out entailed extensions in both paces, his only frustration for the day was he wanted his stable mate pony and this was a issue in the warm up area but not in the ring with a very heavy out side leg though). That's my only complaint so far for Pres other wise he is an exceptionally talented horse that has huge potential and would even suit a rider with limited time due to him never heating up fresh and his ability to learn and please.
This horse is one of the most special horses I have had the pleasure of schooling. He is very secure in his nature and never timid, nerves or skitchy. He is bold confident and very clever, You teach him today and tomorrow he will get you, It took him twice to understand walk through canter transition as an example. He was bought of the track 8 months ago after nearly 1 year grazing spell, he has never ever had any dirt in him or bucked and can feed hot feed! Not a bad doer but needs feeding well with it, He has done his best on round bails of hay. Very bossy in the paddock but would never kick or bite under saddle, pleasure to handle on the ground and first time he had is mane plaited he was plait from the ground. Easy to clip catch and self loads.

He moves with free impulsion, on the bit, high in front, up hill canter (stunning) soft easy transitions up or down, right lead is a little tricky some days, you have to watch him thinking for you if he is really into his workout. His manners on the ground are a little ignorant and a swift smack, well for me a tap dosnt seem to deter him much from rubbing on you he looks at you as if to say,"is that all ya got" which I like rather than him freak out and fear! I have not found fear in this horse at all, Plastic, Kangaroos jumping out, clippers, foals, bangs, spurs, whips, other horses freaking out near him, nothing, he will fix his sight on something in the distance and stare, ears pricked and motionless but never flinch with fear. He will lift his hind leg at you if you take to long to do up a leg strap and I think he will always do that as again, he says when roused at "you talkin to me" he could not care, he wants to do it and do it he will, so if you dont like a horse with a bit of will, spirit and personality and demeaner of a President or a mafia figure lol this guy is not for you, as I said no dirt but he is who he is and he does not care who knows it!

He has been worked Lightly by my 8 year old boy who likes to ride him in his walk down time at the end and loves to handle him, catch him ect.

A lovely lovely boy will be sadly missed.
